Howard Hertz Esq.

Howard Hertz received his B.A. and J.D. degrees from UC Berkeley. In 1981, after serving as an Assistant Public Defender in Los Angeles County and a partner, from 1973 to 1981, in Cooper, Newhouse and Hertz, he left the practice of law to start French Vanilla, a women's sportswear company. In 1989, with partners from Hong Kong, he started Couloir, a skiwear company. In 2000, he became a business consultant to high-profile architectural designer Fu Tung Cheng and has served on Cheng Design's Board of Directors since 2002. Mr. Hertz has been on the Trustee Advisory Board since 2001.
